Like all our other ceremonial-grade matcha, this tea is organically cultivated in the revered fields of Uji, where leaves are meticulously shade-grown and harvested at the peak of freshness. Each leaf is then slowly stone-ground at a rate of 30 grams per hour to avoid oxidizing the tea. With its vibrant color, sweet aroma and robust flavor, our matcha is a frothy treat.

All Morihata matcha is certified organic by the Japan Organic & Natural Foods Association (JONA) in compliance with USDA standards. Each tin bears the USDA Organic seal.
